- Effects can now change ability checks, saving throws, and attack rolls as they happen — granting advantage before the roll, rewriting a die, or reacting to the result — because attacks now run through the same D20 Test pipeline as the other rolls. Two temporary demo effects show it off: advantage on every saving throw, and Lucky — spend one of three Luck Points to reroll a natural 1, with the reroll called out on the roll
- Critical hits are now decided when a roll commits, so a die rewritten or rerolled into a 20 — or into an Improved Critical range — crits, and a natural 20 always hits while a natural 1 always misses
- Granted effects and temporary Hit Points now record where they came from — the spell, feature, or effect that created them — so the creature inspector and narration name the true source instead of a generic fallback
- Dragging your token in combat now opens a prompt showing the pending cost against your movement; nothing is spent until you confirm, and you can keep dragging to adjust the cost or cancel to snap the token back with no movement spent
- Ending your turn now clears any dice still on the table, along with the roll summary, so nothing carries into the next turn
- The initiative rail's Round marker now reads horizontally on desktop, matching the rest of the rail, while staying vertical on mobile
